Tasmanian Extra Tropical Storm

The SMOS NRT wind product (only wind data with quality level equal to 0 and 1 are plotted) for the 4th January 2020. Evening passes. Notice the Extra Tropical Storm which developped south East of Tasmania

Blow up on the storm. To derive this image, SMOS wind were first spatially smooth using a 1/4°-half width gaussian filter and then color-contoured every 1 m/s.
