Smos Wind Service resumed

Dear Smos Wind Service users, the data production was stopped day 2 of May due to a format modification of the Mercator Global Ocean Physics Analysis and Forecast product. The L2 processor was modified and the processing chain is now operational. You can download and use the data again like you used to. Today you will notice that there is a gap since day 2 of May, this gap will be filled progressively in order to not impact the Near Real Time production.

Some isolated differences in the produced data were identified, likely linked to the evolution of the Mercator product. These differences does not impact the overall quality of the products, nevertheless the Smos Wind team is analyzing these differences and will communicate the results as soon as available.
